Notice that segments AC and DB form triangles, Where CE = ED and AE = EB. Also, angles AEC and BED are equal by the vertical angles theorem.

Therefore, by angle-side-angle postulate, triangles AEC and BED are congruent. From that congruence is deducted that AC = DB.
