-4x-(4-3x)+x-9

To simplify:

1- Remove parenthesis: The negative sing before a parenthesis change the symbols of the terms in the parenthesis:

=-4x-4+3x+x-9

2-Combine like terms: Like terms are terms whose variables and their exponents are the same:

\begin{gathered} =-4x+3x+x-4-9 \\ =0x-13 \\ \\ =-13 \end{gathered}Then, the given expression simplified is equal to -13
