L = 46.25
Check
2L + 2W = 178
2(46.25) + 2W = 178
92.5 + 2W = 178
-92.5. -92.5
2W = 85.5
Divide by 2 on both sides
W = 42.75

2(46.25) + 2(42.75) = 178
92.5 + 85.5 = 178
178 = 178 ✅

Answer: 48

Explanation:

l = w + 7

2w + 2l = 178

2w + 2(w + 7) = 178

2w + 2w + 14 = 178

4w = 164

w = 41

l = w + 7

l = 41 + 7

l = 48
