RS=RT=ST

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2x+2=5x-4=3x

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2x+2=3x

\\ \sf\longmapsto 3x-2x=2

\\ \sf\longmapsto x=2

  • 2x+2=2(2)+2=6
  • 5x-3=5(2)-4=6
  • 3x=3(2)=6

Answer:

x = 2

All sides have a measurement of 6.

Explanation:

ΔRTS is equilateral. This means that all the sides are equal to each other, as well as the angles being equal as well.

We can set two sides equal to each other to solve for 'x'.

I used ST and RS.

3x = 2x +2\\\rule{150}{0.5}\\3x - 2x = 2x + 2\\\\\boxed{x = 2}

Since we have the value of x, we can plug in 'x' in one of the sides and evaluate.

==========================

ST =3x\\\rule{105}{0.5}\\ST=3(2)\\\\ST=\boxed{6}

==========================

Since the sides are equal in a equilateral triangle, all the sides have the measurement of 6.

Hope this helps you.
