\begin{gathered} \text{ if the diameter is 14.5, the radius is }(14.5)/(2)=7.25\text{ inches} \\ \text{ the area is now} \\ \\ A=\pi r^2 \\ \\ A=7.25^2\pi \\ A=52.5625\pi\text{ in}^2 \\ A\approx165.13\text{ in}^2 \end{gathered}

The area is 165.13 square inches
