Needing help with homework kinda rusty on this.

Solve


\begin{gathered} (5)/(4)*(12)/(5) \\ =(5*12)/(4*5) \\ \text{The 5 at the top cancels out the one at the bottom of the fraction.} \\ \text{Also, 12 divides 4 and gives us 3. Hence;} \\ (5*12)/(4*5)=(5*12)/(5*4) \\ =3 \end{gathered}

The solution to the multiplications is 3
