To translate any function vertically, we can add the units we want to translate to the function. If the tranlation is up, we add a positive value, if it is down, we add a negative value.

We want 6 units up, so we put a "+ 6" in f(x):

f(x)+6=2x-9+6=2x-3

So, the function after translation is:

f(x)=2x-3
