The lines X and Y are parallel and cut by a transversal.

Vertical Angles : Intersecting lines are lines that cross each other. The point where they meet is called a vertex. When two lines intersect, the opposite (X) angles are equal. These X angles are called vertically opposite angles.

From the defination of vertical angles, Angle 1 and 3 are vertical angles

As, Vertical angles are always equal so, Angle 1 = Angle 3 = 65

Answer : B) <1 and <3 are vertical angles
