To find the percentage of people who had a mild allergic reaction we just need to find the fraction by dividing the number of people with the allergic reaction by the total number of people who tried the product:

(6)/(3000)=0.002

Then, 0.002 of the total people experienced an allergic reaction. To convert the fraction into a percentage, we just need to multiply it by 100:

0.002\cdot100=0.2\text{ \%}

Answer: 0.2% of the people who tried the product had a mild allergic reaction.
