We know that a radio wave travels at the speed of light and we also know that the time can be calculated by the equation:


t=(d)/(v)

Plugging the speed of light and the distance the wave traveled we have:


\begin{gathered} t=(715.18*10^3)/(3*10^8) \\ t=2383.93*10^(-6) \end{gathered}

Therefore, it takes 2383.93 microseconds to travel this distance
