to prove that the table is generated from a linear function, lets consider a linear equation

y = 2x + 1

so lets start substituting the value of x into the equation to know if we will get the value of y to confirm it its a linear function

when x = 1

y = 2x + 1

y = 2(1) + 1

y = 2 + 1

y = 3

when x = 2

y = 2(2) + 1

y = 4 + 1

y = 5

when x = 3

y = 2(3) + 1

y = 6 + 1

y = 7

when x = 4

y = 2(4) + 1

y = 8 + 1

y = 9

so from what we have calculated so far, it can be seen that the table is generated from a linear function

therefore the answer is Yes.y
