Given a two-way table as shown in the following picture:

As shown in the table, we need to find the variables from x to w

So, we can deduce the following relations:

From the first column:


\begin{gathered} x+2=18 \\ x=18-2=16 \end{gathered}

And, from the fourth column:


\begin{gathered} z+20=50 \\ z=50-20=30 \end{gathered}

And, from the first row:


x+6+y=z

Substitute with x and z to find y


\begin{gathered} 16+6+y=30 \\ 22+y=30 \\ y=30-22=8 \end{gathered}

And


\begin{gathered} 2+v+8=20 \\ v+10=20 \\ v=20-10=10 \end{gathered}
