Given,

The points are

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(0,0) \\ (x_2,y_2)=(2,3) \end{gathered}

To find: Find the distance between the origin and (2,3)

Solution:

The distance between the points is calculated by the formula.

\begin{gathered} D=√((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2) \\ D=√((2-0)^2+(3-0)^2) \\ D=√(4+9) \\ D=√(13) \end{gathered}

Hence, the distance between the origin and (2,3) is

√(13)
