Solution

For this case we can do the following:

(a) What percentage of the shoppers do not have computer access at home?

p=(25+125)/(250)=(150)/(250)=0.6

And if we convert to % we got 60%

(b) What percentage of the shoppers have an e-mail account?

p=(75+25)/(250)=(100)/(250)=0.4

And if we convert to % we got 40%
