A classroom.is 26 ft wide, 32 ft long, and 9 ft high. What is the volume of the room in cubic feet?

The volume of a rectangular prism can be calculated by using this formula:


V=lwh

Where "l" is the length, "w" is the width and "h" is the height.

In this case, you know that the dimensions of the classroom are:


\begin{gathered} l=32ft \\ w=26ft \\ h=9ft \end{gathered}

Then, you can substitute values into the formula and then evaluate, in order to find the volume of the room:


\begin{gathered} V=(32ft)(26ft)(9ft) \\ V=7,488ft^3 \end{gathered}

The answer is:


V=7,488ft^3
