lily has 13 yards of clothes

the total clothes length used by lily is

=2(6)/(4)+3(1)/(3)+4.5
\begin{gathered} =(14)/(4)+(10)/(3)+(45)/(10) \\ =(14)/(4)+(10)/(3)+(9)/(2) \end{gathered}

so remaining yards is

=13-((14)/(4)+(10)/(3)+(9)/(2))
\begin{gathered} =13-((42+40+54)/(12)) \\ =13-(136)/(12) \end{gathered}
=(156-136)/(12)=(20)/(12)=(5)/(3)
