Step 1

Find the length of the side PQ

\begin{gathered} The\text{ coordinate of the point P is \lparen3,10\rparen} \\ The\text{ coordinate of the point Q is \lparen8,10\rparen} \end{gathered}

Step 2

Find the length of PQ

\begin{gathered} Distance\text{ between two points} \\ D=√((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2) \\ PQ=√((8-3)^2+(10-10)^2) \\ PQ=√(25)=5 \end{gathered}

Step 3

Part B

Draw the fountain since all sides are of the same length. A Hexagon has 6 sides. Therefore the perimeter will be;

\begin{gathered} 5+5+5+5+5+5=30 \\ or \\ 6*5=30 \end{gathered}

Answer;

Perimeter=30\text{ units}
