Question :-

  • What is the mass (in kg) of an object which accelerates at 3 m/s^2 when acted upon by a 15 N force?

Required Solution :-

  • The mass of the object is 5 kg.

Provided that :-

  • The force applied on object is 15 N
  • The acceleration is 3 m/s²

To Calculate :-

  • Mass of the body

Using Formula :-

  • Force = Mass × Acceleration

Calculation :-

\purple{\longrightarrow \sf Force = Mass * Acceleration}

\longrightarrow \sf Mass = (Force)/(Acceleration )

\longrightarrow \sf Mass = (15)/(3)

\longrightarrow \sf Mass = \cancel{(15)/(3)}

\longrightarrow {\pink{\underline{\underline{\sf{ Mass = 5 \: Kg }}}}}

Henceforth :-

  • The mass of the object is 5 kg.
