Use pythagorean theorem to determine if the three side lengths would form a right triangle. 9,12,15

Using pythagoras theorem;

opposite² + adjacent² = hypotenuse²

12² + 9² = x²

when we solve for x, if it would form a right triangle, then x should give 15

144 + 81 = x²

225 = x²

Take the square root of both-side

15 = x

This implies that, the three side length would form a right triangle.
