to find the slope of a line select the two points given.

in this case the point to the left will be (-4,-1) and the one to the right will be (3,1)

use the formula of the slope to calculate

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

replace the points into the formula

\begin{gathered} m=(1-(-1))/(3-(-4)) \\ m=(2)/(7) \end{gathered}

the slope of the line will be 2/7
