Given,

The expression of the function is,

y=x^2+4x+3

Required

The graph of the function.

Take x = 1 then the value of y is,

y=1^2+4(1)+3=8

Take x = 2 then the value of y is,

y=2^2+4(2)+3=15

Take x = 0 then the value of y is,

y=(-1)^2+4(-1)+3=0

Take x = -1 then the value of y is,

y=1^2+4(1)+3=8

Take x = -2 then the value of y is,

y=(-2)^2+4(-2)+3=-1

The graph of the function is,

The vertex of the graph is (-2, -1).

The x - intercept of the graph is -1 and -3.

The y - intercept of the graph is at 3.

Hence, the graph of the function is obtained.

Sketch the graph of the equation. Label the vertex and the intercepts.-example-1
