from the first data given

(1, -2), (3, -5), (3, -2), (5, -7), (7, -8)

The first data set does not represents a function because

when x = 3 different values of y was generated which is against the rule of a function

when x = 3 y = -5 and when x= 3, y = -2

The second data set represents a function

(0, 1), (1, -3), (2, -5), (3, -7), (4, -9)

the values of x generate a unique value of x which makes it represents a function

The answer is (0,1), (1, -3), (2,-5), (3, -7), (4, -9)
