The equation for GI is 9b+2.

The equation for HI is 3b-6.

The value of HI id 18.

Determine the value of b.

\begin{gathered} 3b-6=18 \\ 3b=24 \\ b=(24)/(3) \\ =8 \end{gathered}

The value of b is 8.

The point H lie in between GI so,

\begin{gathered} GH+HI=GI \\ GH=9b+2-3b+6 \\ =6b+8 \end{gathered}

Substitute the value of b to obtain the value of GH.

undefined
