Solution

Notice that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180. Therefore we have the following equation:


A\text{ + B + C = 180}

now, if A = 110 and B = 35, then replacing this data on the above equation we get:


110\text{ + 35 + C = 180}

this is equivalent to:


145\text{ + C = 180}

solving for C, we get:


C\text{ = 180-145 = 35}

and the angle 1 is exterior angle , then it is:


angle\text{ 1 = 180 - 35 = 145}

then, we can conclude that angle 1 is 145 degrees.
