Solve the inequality -4v<-12.

\begin{gathered} -4v<-12 \\ -(4v)/(4)<-(12)/(4) \\ -v<-3 \\ -v\cdot(-1)>-3\cdot(-1) \\ v>3 \end{gathered}

So after simplification the inequality is v > 3.
