we have

2x^2+9x+10

Find the zeros of the quadratic function

Using the formula

we have

a=2

b=9

c=10

substitute

x=\frac{-9\pm\sqrt[\square]{9^2-4(2)(10)}}{2(2)}
\begin{gathered} x=\frac{-9\pm\sqrt[\square]{1}}{4} \\ \\ x=(-9\pm1)/(4) \end{gathered}

the values of x are

x=-2 and x=-5/2

therefore

2x^2+9x+10=2(x+2)(x+(5)/(2))=(x+2)(2x+5)

the answer is

(x+2)(2x+5)
