The events are independent events.

For Science

The probability of getting an answer correct in the test is 0.5.

Since there are 7 questions, the probability of getting all the questions correctly will be:

\Rightarrow0.5^7=0.008

For English

The probability of getting an answer correctly is 0.25.

Since there are 3 questions, the probability will be:

\Rightarrow0.25^3=0.016

Since the probability is less for Science, he is likelier to do worse by guessing in Science.

Therefore, OPTION C is correct.
