1 Liter = 1,000 mm

think of it as a fraction

2.25/1

(multiply numerator and denominator by 2)

4.5/2

4.5 x 1,000 = 4,500mm

2250
explanation: each liter has 1000 milliliters so 1000*2.5=2250
