Based on this table, how much faster did the cat run than the mouse? (Time is inseconds, and distance is in feet.)tDmouseDcat01500.115.41.90.215.83.80.316.25.70.416.67.60.5179.50.617.411.40.717.813.30.818.215.20.918.617.111919O 5 feet per second15 feet per second2 feet per secondNo difference

First of all, calculate the average speed for both cat and mouse, by using the following formula:

v = (d2 - d1)/(t2 - t1)

where (t1,d1) and (t2,d2) are two pair of values of the table for the distances d1 and d2 traveled at difference times t1 and t2.

Use any pair of values from the table to calculate v1 and v2, the average speed for the cat and mouse respectively:

cat:

v1 = (19 - 0)/(1 - 0)

v1 = 19 ft/s

mouse:

v2 = (19 -15)/(1 - 0)

v2 = 4 ft/s

Hence, you can notice that the cat runs 15ft/s more faster than the cat

(becasue 19 ft/s - 4ft/s = 15ft/s)
