In the isosceles triangle, the 2 base angles are equal in measures

Then in the isosceles triangle with a base angle of 74 degrees, the other base angle is also 74 degrees

Now we will find the measure of its vertex angle

74 + 74 + V = 180 degrees

148 + V = 180

Subtract 148 from both sides to find v

148 - 148 + V = 180 - 148

V = 32 degrees

Since this vertex angle is a part of a right angle, then

The vertex angle of the other isosceles triangle is

R + 32 = 90

Subtract 32 from both sides to find R

R + 32 - 32 = 90 - 32

R = 58

Noe let us find x

x + x + 58 = 180

2x + 58 = 180

Subtract 58 from both sides

2x + 58 - 58 = 180 - 58

2x = 122

Divide both sides by 2 to find x

2x/2 = 122/2

x = 61

The value of x is 61
