Elimination using multiplication.

Explanation:

Given the system of equations:


\begin{gathered} 4x+7y=-14 \\ 8x+5y=8 \end{gathered}

In the system of equations, none of the variables has the same coefficient. Thus, adding or subtracting them will give an equation in 2 variables.

Multiplying any of the equations all though by a constant can make elimination possible.

Therefore, the best method to solve this system will be elimination using multiplication.
