Highest Temperature = 9

Lowest Temperature = -3

To get the difference, we subtract the lowest temperature from the highest temperature.

That gives us:

9 - (-3)

= 9 + 3

= 12 degrees

The difference between the two temperatures: 12 degrees (Answer)
