30 % is 11.2 x 3 = 33.6

40 % is 11.2 x4 = 44.8

50 % is 11.2 x 5 = 56

Now lets make an estimation :

since we have 40 % = 44.8 and 50 % = 56 ,

47 % is much more closer to 50 % than it is to 40 %

Therefore, 47 % will be around 56 sixth graders .
