Assuming that the given limit exists, it should be a number to which the function g approaches as x goes from -2.1 to -2, or as x goes from -1.9 to -2.

From the "left side", g(x) varies from 9.04 to 8.02.

From the "right side", g(x) varies from 8.97 to 8.03.

In both cases, the function g seems to be approaching the number 8.

Therefore, the answer is option A) 8.
