Given,

|4x+3|=|2x-5|

Removing the absolute value we have four condition,

-(4x+3)=-(2x-5)\ldots\ldots\text{.}(1)
\Rightarrow-2x=8\Rightarrow x=-4
-(4x+3)=(2x-5)\Rightarrow x=(1)/(3)\ldots\text{.}(2)
(4x+3)=-(2x-5)\Rightarrow x=(1)/(3)\ldots\ldots\text{.}\mathrm{}(3)
4x+3=2x-5\Rightarrow x=-4\ldots\ldots(4)

Thus x can have two values x=-4,1/3.
