The slope formula is:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Where (x2,y2) is the rightmost point and (x1,y1) the other point to calculate the slope

The rightmost point in this case is (5,7) because 5 is greater than -3

So

\begin{gathered} m=(7-3)/(5-(-3)) \\ m=(4)/(5+3) \\ m=(4)/(8) \\ m=(1)/(2) \end{gathered}
