A dashed line means the solutions (points) on it are not included and it is identified by < or > sign, whereas a solid line tells us that the solutions on it are included and it is identified by

≥ or ≤ sign.

A. If we click >- sign, the dashed line will turn into a solid line and the location of the shaded area will remain unchanged.

B. if we click -< sign, the dashed line will turn into a solid line and the location of the shaded area will remain unchanged.
