How much energy is required to melt 12.80 g of ice at 0°C?

In this question, we have to find the amount of energy required to melt ice at 0°C, and in order to do that, we will be using the Calorimetry formula but modified for melting of ice, the formula will be:

Q = m*ΔHfusion

m is 12.80 grams

ΔHfusion is 334 J/g

Now we add these values into the formula:

Q = 12.80 * 334

Q = 4275 Joules are required
