The sum of the angle 6x° and the angle (2x+2)° is equal to 90°. When this happens we can call the angles complementaries.

So, the angle relationship is complementary angles.

Taking into account than the sum of them is 90°, we can write the following equation:

6x + (2x + 2) = 90

So, solving for x, we get:

6x + 2x + 2 = 90

(6+2)x + 2 = 90 distributive property

8x + 2 = 90

8x + 2 - 2 = 90 - 2 substracting 2 on both sides

8x = 88

8x/8 = 88/8 dividing by 8 on both sides

x = 11

Therefore, x is equal to 11

Answers: A. Complementary angles

B. x = 11
