\begin{gathered} To\text{ graph the line, we will take two values for x, find the corresponding y values } \\ \text{and then join the two points.} \\ \text{if x=0,} \\ y=(-(3)/(2))(0)+8 \\ y=8 \\ So\text{ the first point is (0,8)} \\ \\ \text{If x=2, then} \\ y=(-(3)/(2))(2)+8 \\ y=-3+8 \\ y=5 \\ \text{ And the second point is (2,5), joining the points we get the graph of the line} \end{gathered}

A) A solution of the equation is a poir of points (x,y) that satisfy the equation. For example, we already found that the point (0,8) is a solution of the equation

B) if (28,k) is a solution, then

\begin{gathered} k=-(3)/(2)(28)+8 \\ k=-3\cdot(14)+8 \\ k=-42+8 \\ k=-34 \end{gathered}

So k = -34
