Juan says that √7 is a rational numberbecause you can write √7 as a quotient√7/1.Is Juan correct? Explain.

In general, every rational number can be expressed as a fraction a/b, where a and b are two integers (b is different than zero).

Thus, sqrt(7)/1 is not a rational number because sqrt(7) is not an integer. Juan is wrong.
