Given the function:

f(x)=x^2+4x+2

We will find the value of f(-4)

So, substitute with (x= -4) into the function f(x)

\begin{gathered} f(-4)=(-4)^2+4\cdot(-4)+2 \\ f(-4)=16-16+2 \\ f(-4)=2 \end{gathered}

So, the answer will be: f(-4) = 2
