The equation is given as,

$2x\text{ < 10}$

Dividing both the sides by 2 ,

$\begin{gathered} (2x)/(2)\text{ < }(10)/(2) \\ x\text{ < 5} \end{gathered}$

Thus the required result is ,

$x\text{ < 5}$
