For 500 visitors , 340 stopped in the fruit department . Base on this information the number of visitor that will stop in the fruit department after having a total visitor of 2500 can be computed below

\begin{gathered} 500\text{ visitors = 340} \\ 2500\text{ visitors=?} \\ \text{cross multiply} \\ \text{ number stopped in the fruit department=}(2500*340)/(500)=(850000)/(500)=1700 \end{gathered}

Number that stopped in the fruit department for 2500 visitors = 1700
