Craig went bowling with $25 to spend. He rented shoes for $5.25 and paid $4.00 for each game. What was the greatest number of games Craig could have played? by the way it has to be an algebraic expression

the total money crag has = 25 $

the rent of shoes is a fixed charge of 5.25 $ + variable charge of 4 $ per game

so total rent is

R = 5.25 + 4x

here x = no of match played by craig,

also craing has only 25$ to spend

so put R = 25

25 = 5.25 + 4x

4x = 25 - 5.25

4x = 19.75

x = 19.75/4

x = 4.93

but the number of matches can be in an integer only

so the total number of the match could have played = 4

thus the answer is 4 match
