Andrae's money = $25

Admission cost =$4

Cost of each ride = $1.50

Number of rides = x

We have to write an inequality:

The sum of the admission cost (4) and the product of the number rides (x) and the cost per ride (1.50) must be less or equal than Andrae's money (25).

4+1.50x ≤ 25

Solve for x:

subtract 4 from both sides:

4+1.50x -4≤ 25-4

1.50x ≤ 21

Divide both sides by 1.50

1.50x/1.50 ≤ 21/1.50

x ≤ 14

Andrae can go into to 14 rides max.
