We have the following:

\begin{gathered} y=-2x-2 \\ y=-x+1 \end{gathered}

To know the solution we must match the functions to know the value of x, just like that

\begin{gathered} -2x-2=-x+1 \\ -2x+x=2+1 \\ -x=3 \\ x=-3 \end{gathered}

now, for y:

\begin{gathered} y=-(-3)+1=3+1=4 \\ \end{gathered}

Therefore the solution is:

(-3,4)

The graphical solution is the intercept between both lines, just like that
