a) FE ║ QR

1) The triangle DQR, the image of the pre-image DEF is a similar triangle, with the same angles and proportional sides to DEF.

2) Having said that, since we don't know the scale factor or the side lengths. Or the angles of those triangles. And we know that similar triangles are not congruent. We can only state that:

FE ║ QR

Because of the similarity between those two triangles, assure us that as a consequence these sides will remain parallel.
