Given the below equation;


2m=1+m

The step that is needed is to isolate m, i.e move all the terms in m to one side of the equation. So let's go ahead and subtract m from both sides of the equation;


\begin{gathered} 2m-m=1+m-m \\ m=1 \end{gathered}
