we can know the result, evaluating the point (0,0)


\begin{gathered} y=f\mleft(0-4\mright)-4=-8 \\ y=f\mleft(0-4\mright)+4=0 \\ y=f\mleft(0+4\mright)+4=8 \\ y=f\mleft(0+4\mright)-4​=0 \end{gathered}

the answer lies between points b and c.

Now,

to know the answer we must see the dotted and dim line, which starts from x = -4, therefore the correct answer is option b.
